On August 6th I joined a crowd of over 50,000 people to watch Taylor Swift live in concert, in Philly.
I went with a group of 6 people, including me. All of us couldn’t afford much, so we had the worst seats ever. We were so high up and far away, but just being there was magical, it was captivating, it was breath taking, it was enchanting. We had the time of our lives. I know I did at least.
I had no idea what to expect. We made our way through the traffic and through the crowd and into our seats. We waited for Taylor Swift to come out. It started drizzling. Suddenly the lights dimmed and her monologue began. I fell in love with her words. I fell in love with how she said them. I fell in love with everything about it. Suddenly Sparks Fly started playing. Which is by far my favorite song on the album! My heart started pounding. Taylor Swift rose out of a cloud of smoke and fireworks flew into the air. I stared in amazement with a huge smile on my face. The whole night was wonderful. It was the most fun ever.
After I went to her concert I decided to take my friends advice and convert my Tumblr into a Taylor Swift blog. I love running a Swift blog. Every day I smile, and have a blast obsessing over Taylor Swift.
Seeing Taylor Swift’s concert changed my life. It was amazing. The fireworks blew my mind. We might not have been close, but we were there. I was there.
My Swift shirt. It has glow in the dark paint ;)

The prettiest, loudest crowd of people who all share a love for the same country girl.

I finally got home at 1 in the morning. BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.

Novemeber 22nd 2011 I went to the LAST Speak Now Concert in the US!
I never thought I’d get to go to her concert again. I knew about the last concert being in NYC for a while. I would ask my mom to go but it was a school day and it’s 2 hours away :/ So my mom’s answer was no. I was broken up about it for the longest time. Then a week before the concert I realized I HAVE TO GO. I was joking around with my best friend, Jason, about driving down to NYC for the concert. He actually agreed to go. I almost had a heart attack. It was 8 days before the concert. I asked my mom to get tickets. They were over 300$ for two tickets….. I had to pay for them. We got the tickets and it was all set! When the day came we left for NYC. The whole ride there I saw the number 13…

Good luck I guess because the ride could have been worse. There was SOO much traffic and it was pouring. (just my luck). Because of the traffic we were a half hour late…. I thought I missed more than I did. But I almost cried because the beginning is my favorite part… We parked and literally RAN in the rain, 10 blocks to MSG. Turns out I missed Sparks Fly, Mine, Story of Us, Our Song, and I got there right as Mean was playing. I could hear it as we walked up the the building. We were stupid and couldn’t figure out how to get into the building. So Jason asked the security guard “Where is Taylor Swift?”. It was the funniest thing, because he is a manly man guy dude sir and he was asking about Taylor Swift. The security guard laughed and showed us how to get in. We were soaked and freezing. We ran inside and ran up the stairs. We could hear Taylor singing. Jason was not a Taylor fan when he came to this concert. But when we got to the third level we walked out and Taylor Swift was right there, below us singing. He looked at me and said “SHE IS RIGHT THERE. TAYLOR SWIFT IS RIGHT THERE.” He was so excited. We realized that our seats were higher up. So we ran up some more stairs. I could hear Taylor Swift finish her song and start talking about winning the AMAs or something. I ran up the stairs screaming “GO TAY!” The people who worked there laughed at me. We got to our seats and watched the rest of the show. I had a bunch of glowsticks on my arms. I had a glow in the dark t shirt.

I had my nails done just for the occasion.

And I was sitting in seat 13. (: There were these four CUTE little girls sitting in front of me. They kept looking back at me am smiling. Finally one girl was like “You are really pretty.” My heart melted. And I responded “Aww thanks so much! So are you!” Only at a Taylor Swift concert will that happen. Eventually I gave those little girls all of my glowsticks. They had so much fun with them(: The whole night I screamed and danced and sang. Jason was in awe the whole time. He was screaming and singing. He turned to me half way through and said “I am now a fan.” It was the best thing ever. He never understood my obsession with Taylor. Now he did. When Taylor walked through the crowd and hugged everyone Jason stared in awe. “She really cares about her fans” He said to me. We she sang Last Kiss Jason turned to me and said “She really puts a lot of emotion into her songs”. He was slowly understanding my love for Taylor Swift (: When Selena Gomez came out we went INSANE. James Taylor was amazing. At the end of the concert we left completely changed. Jason now understood why I love Taylor. And I had the best night of my life. It was still raining when we left. The ride home was long. When I got home I slept for an hour then was back on the road because it was Thanksgiving break and I was headed to my grandmothers house 8 hours away -___-

That night was sparkling. I’ll never let it go <3
